This knife was forged from wrought iron san mai that was made in my shop. The wrought iron used on this one is very finely refined. The core steel is 1.2519 German tungsten tool steel which is similar to blue#2. This knife has a wide bevel convex grind that has been Kasumi finished on Japanese natural stones. The handle of this knife is composed of a nice block of Arizona Ironwood and it has an African Blackwood ferrule. The handle is oval shaped.
