282x66 Tasmanian

$980.00

This is a wrought iron gyuto with 1.2519 core. This steel is similar to aogami #2. It is a fine grained tungsten steel which takes a keen edge and holds it. This wrought iron used on this knife is cleaner compared to the stuff I normally use. This one has been coffee etched for high contrasting finish. The handle is figured Tasmanian Blackwood with an African Blackwood ferrule. This knife is large and has a slight forward balance point but cuts well and is a bit on the workhorse side.

Out of the handle: 6.71mm
Above Makers Mark: 2.82mm
Middle: 1.83mm
