225x53 Walnut Kasumi

$950.00

This knife was forged from wrought iron clad san mai that was made in my shop. The wrought iron used on this one came from a local bridge in Missouri.  This has been some of the best wrought iron I have used, it’s stringy yet refined.  The core steel is 1.2519 German tungsten tool steel which is similar to blue#2. This knife has a wide bevel convex grind that has been Kasumi finished on Japanese natural stones. I would consider this knife a workhorse grind suitable for general kitchen tasks.  The handle of this knife is composed of Missouri black walnut. The handle is octagonal shaped
