240x39 K-tip Suji

$850.00

This San mai knife was forged from wrought iron that was sourced from a large piece of wagon wheel with a core of 1.2562. A German tungsten steel with high wear resistance and takes a very keen edge. I’m very happy to be able to offer this as it is very rare in North America(Many thanks to Rocky). The knife has a kasumi polish that was done by me and finished in an Ohira Suita. The handle is dyed/stabilized unknown wood with ancient bog oak ferrule. The main handle block has a nice cream color with grey streaking throughout. This knife I would consider to be a bit more of a workhorse grind to it.
