This is a mono steel knife forged from 1.2519. This steel is similar to aogami #2. It is a fine grained tungsten steel which takes a keen edge and holds it. This knife was forged to shape. The handle is spalted apple from my property, it was harvested around 2016. The ferrule is ironwood.
