This knife was made from 52100 ball bearing steel. The blade has been hardened to a Rockwell of 62/63. This knife has a convex grind that was satin finished by hand. The handle is Canadian Yellow Cedar Burl with an African Blackwood ferrule. The handle is oval shaped. This knife would be a great all around smaller kitchen knife, I have a very similar one that I use very often.
