This gyuto was made from 1084 high carbon steel. 1084 is a really nice all around steel, this knife will take a great patina. It has a convex grind and nice taper from the ricasso forward. The handle is micarta sourced from industrial round stock, it is round/oval. This knife has a forced patina.
