230x49 Wrought Redwood

$975.00

This is a wrought iron with 52100 ball bearing core. 52100 is a fine grained high carbon steel that is great for chef knives. The wrought iron on this knife is from an antique wagon wheel. The handle of this knife is composed of a single piece of highly figured California redwood burl. This knife has more of a workhorse grind to it. This knife was stone finished and then I lightly dipped in ferric, I then removed the oxides with natural stone mud. This has left a bright finish with some character showing through the wrought iron.
